Dear readers,
2025 was all about change! After establishing our retail presence in New York, we doubled down and shifted our entire production to New York City. What felt like a bold, visionary move in 2024 ended up saving us in 2025, as tariffs and rising costs hit every corner of the industry—from buttons to fabric.
It was a turbulent year, one that taught us a lot. We quickly brought together a small but incredibly talented team here in New York to produce the LD-13 pieces—designs that may look like art escaping the gallery, yet are 100% wearable for the street by anyone willing to step outside their comfort zone.
So yes, local production is possible. And it allows us to deliver on our promise to clients and retailers: creative, meticulously made LD-13 pieces.
And who knows what system we’ll be operating in next year—only this much is certain: it will be different.
